Ramadan Reminder episode 3_ dikhir

Easy Dhikr for Extensive Reward! Easy Dhikr for Extensive Reward  What is light on the tongue but heavy on the Scale? Dhikr, the remembrance of Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He). “O You who believe!  Remember Allah with much remembrance” [33:41]. During the hustle and bustle of our frantic lives, the day seems to go by so quickly that it is not until a rare quiet moment late at night that we may realize we have not remembered Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) throughout the day. Apart from the five daily prayers (which themselves are forever threatened to be rushed through or forgotten), did we take a single moment from our day amongst the creation to remember the Creator? Did we actively seek Barakah or allow the opportunity to pass us by? A flimsy “Alhamdulillah” may slip from our tongues but a little reflection may go with it. The lack of dhikr, or remembrance in Allah, can be blamed on mismanaging time, working hard on our busine...

Ramadan Reminder!! Episode II

12 sunnah you can do to earn rewards Episode two Treating  parent beautifully Regardless of where you are at in your relationship with your parents, try to make it better this month. If you are in disagreement with them for any reason, try your best to reconnect with them. Ramadan Reminder!!!! 12 Sunnah you can do to earn rewards Episode 1 ~ Renewing your intention daily.      There are two major Hadith that we need to be reminded of here.    Firstly the beloved prophet (SAW) said;     " ( Allah said) , every good deed of Adam's son is for him except his fasting; it is for me. And I shall reward ( the fasting person) for it.     Verily the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk"                           ( Sahih Bukhari)     Also the prophet (SAW) says; He who observes fasting during the month of Ramadan with faith while seeking it's reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven.                      ( Also Bukhari & Muslim). So by looking at the first hadith, remember that in your long hours fasting, you are engag...

Embracing beauty

All embracing beauty May the peace and blessings of all be upon us all( Ameen) We've all been touched by the beauty.   It's almost fitrah ( natural disposition) to love what is beautiful. Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, said about the prophet, peace be upon him, that is was "as if the sun is shining from his face" jabir ( may Allah be pleased with him) said; The messager of Allah was more handsome, beautiful and radiant than the full moon" ( Tirmidhi) .     Allah made all his prophets have a certain beauty so that people would have a natural inclination towards them.      And beauty bis more than what is in the face, because beauty is in all of creation and somehow has the ability to take our breath away and give us peace simultaneously.    The glimmer of the crescent moon on a calm night, the intensity of a waterfall as the water drops, for thousands of feet the sunset by the sea..... Certain scenes of natural u...
